Welcome to the Fell Pony Journal & Archive!

Fell Ponies are delightful animals of exceedingly good temperament and intelligence. With round, hard blue hooves and plenty of dense flat bone below the knee, they are strong, tireless, surefooted and thrifty. Globally there are less than 500 breeding mares. Recently the integrity and usefulness of the Fell Pony has come to light and exportations are on the rise. As of 2008, there are approximately 300 ponies in North America.
The Fell Pony Journal is an independent publication full of news, photos and Fell related topics in a black and white newsletter format. In the past the Journal published twice a year.
Due to a number of circumstances publishing has been suspended since the summer of 2006. All subscribers have been automatically carried over into the 2008 subscription year. We will begin taking new subscriptions when the website is overhauled and a new format installed. Until then, we beg your patience while we restructure our future format and re-catalog our Archival material and back issue inventory.
