River, like her famous dam, exemplifies the exotic Desert type - poised, commanding, and full of grace, with beautiful floating suspension at the trot and a kind, friendly nature. River is part of the female dynasty that her dam "Jewel" has so successfully established over the years as a consistent producer of quality, regardless of the stallion selection. For five years running, Jewel held the record for high selling mare in the breed. We are expecting no less quality from River.

River is a rose gray slowly turning white. She is the daughter of the lovely fleabitten grey stalion Eastern Jehani who is a superb Steppe-Desert type combination. She has a lovely Desert head, long sleek neck, nicely balanced body, a beautiful mane and tail, good legs with plenty of flat bone, and hard, well-shaped hooves that rarely require trimming. Her movement is sublime, effortless, agile, and light.

River will be a valuable cross for our FelFel* and Shirine* bloodlines.
